Buying and Selling
Spot Trading is the buying and selling of assets
Buying and Selling on GigaDEX is a lot like using existing exchanges on crypto. Using the action box on the right side of the order book you will be able to complete an order.
How to create a Buy order:
Navigate to Trade
Select Buy
Select between Market or Limit
Market order will use the current price set by the market (in order book)
Limit order will allow you to set the price
Enter the amount you wish to buy and if you chose Limit enter the price to buy it at
Select Buy and your order will be processed immediately
How to create a Sell order:
Navigate to Trade
Select Sell
Select between Market or Limit
Market order will use the current price set by the market (in order book)
Limit order will allow you to set the price
Enter the amount you wish to buy and if you chose Limit enter the price to buy it at
Select Sell and your order will be processed immediately
Note.
When selecting Market the order will be processed immediately and will likely result in a sale. This means you will not be able to change your mind and cancel it once the order has been placed.
