Spot Arbitrage

Buying an asset cheaper on one exchange and selling it higher on another

Spot Arbitrage is a trading strategy that takes advantage of price discrepancies between two different decentralized exchanges. The goal is to buy a cryptocurrency on one exchange at a lower price and then immediately sell it on another exchange at a higher price, resulting in a profit. This strategy can be used to capitalize on small price differences between exchanges, and can be profitable with low risk when done correctly.

Example. Loot Boxes are valued at 95 SOL on GigaDEX but are valued at 100 SOL of Magic Eden. Frank can now perform a spot arbitrage by buying a Loot Box on GigaDEX and sell it on Magic Eden and by doing this Frank will keep the difference of 5 SOL

GigaDEX Spot Arbitrage Bot In order to maintain a balance across GigaDEX and other secondary marketplaces there will be an active bot looking for arbitrage opportunities and enact itself to complete the transaction instantly.

Note. All documentation around how external parties can set this up themselves will be released to the public leading up to or at launch of GigaDEX
